Ue{;[ of rdatural Reso!~rces <br />Pursuant to 1973 Colorado Revised Statutes, Section 34-32-114, et sec., <br />our organization has a number of significant objections and protests to <br />the permit applications filed by Castle Concrete Company for its Snyder <br />Quarry, Pikeview Quarry, and Queens Canyon Quarry. We understand that <br />those permit applications are not yet complete, and ~+ill be revised per <br />comments and input from the Reclamation Board. We further understand that <br />once the applications are deemed complete, the Company will be required <br />to republish notice of the applications, and that our group, among others, <br />will have twenty days after final publication within which to submit our <br />protests or objections. <br />It is therefore our understanding that our detailed comments need not be <br />filed with your Board by October 28, but may wait until the applications <br />are revised and finally published. <br />If the foregoing is incorrect, please advise me. Otherwise, please let <br />me know when the Castle Concrete applications are complete and an file <br />with the E1 Paso County Clerk and Recorder, so that our organization may <br />study them for comment.
