<br />ABSTRACT <br />Continuing cultural resource studies at the Peabody Coal Company Nucla <br />Mine in western Montrose County, Colorado, have resulted in field <br />surveys of two additional tracts and six drill sites. This report, <br />prepared as Attachment 1 to Nickens and Associates 1986 Nucla Mine <br />report, provides the results for Tract IIA, a 112-acre area located <br />immediately west of Nucla. The surface of the tract has been greatly <br />modified and little actual field survey was possible. The entire tract <br />is under private ownership.
