Dept. of t98Etial Aesoures;; <br />Dear Ms. Hellner: <br />In response to your letter of March 10, 1986, the following information <br />is provided regarding our two 110 Permit Applications (File No. M-86-025 <br />and File No. M-86-026): <br />Exhibit B Mining Plan <br />1. Where topsoil and overburden are available, they will be stockpiled <br />separately in order that any organic materials will be preserved. Topsoil <br />stored longer than one growing season will be graded to slopes no steeper <br />than 3H: 1V and seeded with Blue Grams, Buffalo Grass, or other native <br />grasses as recommended by the Soil Conservation Service. <br />Exhibit E Reclamation Plan <br />1. The reclamation plans suggested by the Soil Conservation Service will <br />be implemented for both permit areas. As in the past, we will continue to <br />follow their advice. <br />2. No slopes shall be steeper than 2H:1V and any slopes steeper than <br />3H:1V will be terraced and~or other measures taken to protect against <br />erosion. <br />Inclosed are nexspaper clippings of the legal notices published last week <br />and this week plus copies of receipts from E1 Paso County Recorder's Office, <br />Land Use Office, and Board of County Commissioners Office.
