• ~
2. Location of all surface water bodies, such as streams, lakes, ponds,
and springs within the permit area and adjacent area.
3. Location of any water discharge into any surface body of water within
the permit area and adjacent area.
,
4. Description of surface drainage systems sufficient to identify the
seasonal variations in water quality within the permit area end
adjacent area.
S. Identify the extent to which the proposed surface cool mining opera-
C lions may proximately result in diminution and/or interruption o! a
surface source of water within the proposed permit area and adjacent
(' areas for domestic, agricultural, industrial, fish, and wildlife, or
• other legitimate use. If diminution or interruption may result, then
identify alternate sources of water supply or sources of augmentation
water.
6. Climatological factors that are representative of the proposed permit
area including:
e. mean monthly precipitation
b. average direction and velocity of prevailing winds
e. mean monthly temperature snd temperature variations
7. Demonstrate the existence or nonexistence of an alluvial valley floor
within the permit area and adjacent area.
8. Install the proposed surface water monitoring system including four
! non-recording precipitation gauges and four surface water gauging
stations.
9. Estimate the snowmelt nmoff based on available information.
•
