There
are no structural problems nor evidence of piping in the older structures with
principal spillways through the dam to report. All dams are func[ioning as
designed. All storm runoff has past without incident. Vegetation response on
our 1968 dam seedings is adequate and was evaluated this quarter.
During the 3rd quarter, some sediment levels were approximated as the water
levels and algae growth shielded observation of actual volumes. However, no
sediment ponds are proposed for cleaning this year. In the event pond
cleaning becomes necessary, the Division will be notified for approval.
Muskrat activity in our sediment control structures has declined. We will
continue to monitor and insure against future damage.
Sincerely,
William Agnew ~
Senior Environmental Engineer
Attachment
WSH/ses/048
pc R.L.
