Additionally, please send us your rules and regulations for conducting <br />public hearings on these matters. <br />Our American Indian owned and operated contract archeology <br />company's presentation to this board on this subject was blocked by a last <br />mirnne change in the meeting date. The input of other interested individuals <br />and American Indian civil rights organizations was also blocked by this action. By <br />moving up the meeting date with little or no warning this commission has in <br />essence blocked public comment on the deposition of State Trust Fund lands. <br />We also feel that Susan Collins, the State Historic Preservation Office, <br />and your commission have clearly over-stepped your authority in determining <br />the State of Colorado's legal obligation to protect ailtural resources on State <br />owned lands.
