.,., 'T"T _ ~ I~ <br /> <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br />RIO BUNCO COUN7Y <br />9°% 599 <br />MEEKER, COLORADO 81641 <br />PN°NE: d78-5081 <br />26 June 1978 <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />723 Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Gentlemen: <br />This letter is being written at the request of Charles Devereaux <br />Construction concerning their application to the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board and involving the K Bar T Pit located Southeast of <br />Meeker on a parcel of land in Section 27, T1N, R93W, 6th P.M., in Rio <br />Blanco County Colorado being more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point on the South line Tract No. 84, Section 27, <br />T1N, P.93W, whence Corner No. 4 Tract 84 bears N. 89° 56'E a <br />distance of 1604.8 feet:; <br />1. Thence along the South line Tract 84 S. 89°56'W. a distance <br />of 750.0 feet; <br />2. Thence North a distance of 500.0 feet; <br />3. Thence N. 78°42' E. a distance of 764.6 feet; <br />4. Thence South a distance of 650.0 feet to a point of <br />beginning. <br />The above described narcel contains 9.9 acres. <br />The K Bar T Pit is an old existing pit which was active prior to <br />Rio Blanco County's initiation of zoning and is considered to have an <br />existing non-conforming use which may be allowed to continue. Therefore, <br />the Rio Blanco County Planning Department has no zoning problem or <br />additional requirements concerning this application or the pits future <br />operation. <br />S' erely, <br />~~av <br />Duane L.
