SOILS EVALUATION
The soils found in a part of the N.W.i of Section 31, TAN.,
R. 65W,, and a part of the N.E.% of Section 36, TAN., R.66W.
are 'ML' to 'SM', 'CL', and 'G'.
'ML' being inorganic silts and very fine sands, rock flour,
silty or clayey fine sands with slight plasticity.
'SM' being silty sands, poorly graded sand —silt mixtures.
'CL' being inorganic clays of low to medium plasticity,
gravelly clays, sandy clays, silty clays, lean clays.
'G' being course gravel to fine gravel, well graded.
The 'ML' to 'SM' overburden soil varies in depth from 0 inches
to 18 inches, with the 'CL' soil being a deposit ranging from
0 inches to 1 8 inches a t an approximate depth of 18 inches.
The 'CL' soil appears to be a deposit created by flooding
conditions in the past. The 'G' soil is found as close as the
ground surface, to 24 inches below the surface.
The soil survey was made on the basis of a 5 foot exploration.
The information should be used for general planning and does not
exclude the need for on —site investigation for specific engineering
purposes.
