First quarter 2007 <br />sediment pond inspections were conducted on March 17, and 21, 2007. Most of the ponds were dry, or with <br />small pools of melted snow banks in some of the ponds. Mine water treatment ponds, 5-P5, 5-P6 and 5-P7, <br />Outfall No. 003 discharged during fast quarter 2007. The operator noted that minor maintenance is needed for <br />rodent burrows at Pond SA-Pl, and Pond 9-P5. <br />Copies of the quarterly reports need to be maintained at the mine office and at the Division's office as per Rule <br />4.05.9(17).
