III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII <br /> EXHIBIT E <br /> RECLAMATION PLAN <br /> ' CLIFTON WATER GRAVEL PTr <br /> ' After the sand and gravel deposit has been removed from the pit,the sides of the excavated area <br /> will be sloped 3 horizontal to 1 vertical from the existing ground to the bottom of the excavation. <br /> ' The excavated area will be allowed to fill with water creating a pond with a surface area of nine <br /> acres. <br /> ' Slopes and disturbed areas around the perimeter of the pond will be covered with stockpiled <br /> topsoil to a depth of 6 to 8 inches. The disturbed areas and slopes will be seeded with the <br /> following seed mixture: <br /> tSpecies Variety %of MIX Lbs/Acre <br /> ' Indian Ricegrass Paloma 33 4.6 <br /> Fairway Wheatgrass Nordan 33 1.8 <br /> ' Thickspike Wheatgrass Critana 33 3.9 <br /> The above application rate is drilling. The rate should be doubled for broadcasting. <br /> 1 Reclamation will be done on an ongoing basis. When mining is completed in an area, the slopes <br /> will be graded to 3 to 1 and topsoil spread. Seeding will be done the following fall or spring after <br /> ' topsoiling has been completed. Grading and topsoiling can be completed within one month <br /> following completion of the mining. Final reclamation of the site should be completed within 2 to 3 <br /> years after the pit has been depleted. This will allow three seasons for the revegetation to establish <br /> itself after the last area has been mined. <br /> ' When mining is completed the area will be left as a pond with a surface area of approximately nine <br /> acres. The post mining land use of the area will be wildlife habitat. The District may open the area <br /> ' for public recreation at some future date. <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />
