• WILDLIFE STATEMENT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
The applicant has made every effort to obtain a statement from the Division
of Wildlife concerning this application.
The initial request for a review was made by letter and sketch on June 8,
1979. (See attached) . Concern developed in regard to the Wildlife Easement
(Attached) held by the Division of Wildlife and a meeting was held on the
site on July 24, 1979 between Mrs . Frank, her attorney, Mr. Bosley and five
representatives of the Division; Messrs. Desilet, Todd, Bogart, Leonard
and Crawford. As a result of this meeing, the Division requested more spec-
ific information in their letter dated July 30, 1979. (See attached) . This
information was provided to the best of the applicant's ability by letter on
September 10, 1979. (See attached) . Many attempts have been made since that
date to obtain a statementfrom the Division with no results. The only comment
appears to be that no statement can be made until a long term plan of the
• total property is submitted.
At this time , there are no plans and no testing has been made outside the
"Limited Impact" area for which this permit is being requested. The appli-
cant is aware that any extension of this operation will require a "Regular
Operation" permit and all the supporting information and approvals.
Since time is of the essence in this matter from the standpoint of both the
landowner and the prospective operator, this Application is being submitted
without the formal comments of the Division of Wildlife, as stated above,
but with the assurance that the applicant and its representatives will con-
tinue their attempts to obtain these comments from Wildlife for inclusion with
the Application and/or the development standards.
•
Fl
