Simpwn
"...,~ O9y Aare Engineer
The enclosed report from Jim Dillie of the Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG), identifies
three ponds which expose groundwater in the vicinity of the N1/2 of SE1/4, Section 36,
Township 38 North, Range 10 East, New Mexico P.M. A review of the well file by location
and by alphabetical search under the names, Southwest Ready-Mix, Stockebrand, Mathias
Concrete doesn't indicate a welt permit to divert groundwater. A review of the Substitute
Water Supply Plan file doesn't show that there's an approved SWSP for this depletion of
groundwater. The applicant, Art Stockebrand, has indicated that he has a well permit to
replace the out-of-priority diversions associated with the ponds. It's possible that the deep
well #20630-F might provide augmentation water if approved in a SWSP or court-approved
plan of augmentation.
DMG has reported that they have no information verifying mitigation of potential water rights
impacts. Would you please copy Jim Dillie of DMG on any correspondence related to water
administrative actions regarding this site?
CGR:jmg
cc: !im ®illie, DM6
Keith Vander Horst
STATE OF COLORADO
June 20, 1996
7253M.cr
