It is <br />therefore the Division's understanding that the discharge previously authorized has ceased. <br />Please be advised that it is unlawful to discharge pollutants from a point source to state waters without a <br />permit. Sxtion 25-8-608 of the Colorado Water Quality Control Act provides for assessing of civil penalties <br />of up to 510,000 per day for unlawful discharge. Should you operate your facility, now or in the future, and <br />you anticipate resumption of discharge, you must apply for a permit no less than 180 days prior to the <br />discharge.
