HART <br />COUMrr MDPf+Er <br />Re: PUE6L0 COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Special Use Permit No. 97.09-Natural Deposits, Extraction, and Processing in A•1 Zone <br />District <br />Gentlemen <br />Please be advised that the Pueblo County Planning Commission, at its meeting held on June <br />24, 1997, voted to rove Special Use Permit No. 97-09 with the following conditions and <br />notation: <br />1. The applicant shall provide the Department of Planning end Development with a copy of <br />any and all Federal, State, or local permit applications, approvals, amendments, or <br />releases (e.g., air quality, MLRB, augmentation, etc.) pertaining to Special Use Perrtlit <br />No. 97-09 within 30 days of submittal and/or approval by the respective agency. <br />2. The applicant shall prepare and submit prior to any mining activity being conducted, a <br />detailed mine-site area plan which identifies the location o} all electric utility lines, <br />support structures, andlor gas/oil pipelines traversing the permitted property which will <br />require afifty-foot safety buffer either side of the centerline. Said safety buffers shall be <br />identified on the site plan. <br />3. The applicant shall submit to the Department of Planning and Development a detailed <br />mining operations plan which identifies the sequence and directions which the mining <br />activity will fallow. Said plan may be combined with the above referenced detailed site <br />area plan. <br />4. The applicant shall notify the beneficiaries of any utility easements prior to <br />commencement of any mining activity adjacent to an easement. Applicant shall fie a <br />copy of this notice with the Department of Planning and Development. <br />1120 GOURT STREET.
