One copy of the document is not
bound. These documents include environmental ground water monitoring data collected
and compiled during ourtwenty-seventh quarter of operations (June 2007). No solution
mining activity occurred during the report period.
The ground water data summary report is spiral bound as anon-confidential document and
includes a comparison of the 27th operational quarter with baseline and operational
general statistics prior to the current reporting period. In addition, the tables provide
information for comparison of Ground Water Standards as provided in Regulation No. 41
and Numeric Protective Levels and Early Warning Indicators as amended in TR-4.
Analysis of the data collected in June 2007 shows one data point for dissolved sodium
elevated above the early warning indicator (EWI) at the 21-5 alluvial monitoring well. The
sample collected indicates a value for dissolved sodium of 505 mg/L. The calculated EWI
for this constituent at this sampling point is 498 mg/L. The baseline mean value for
dissolved sodium is 443 mg/L computed from 15 samples and the operational mean
derived from 60 samples is 468 mg/L. The maximum value observed in the baseline
monitoring phase prior to solution mining was 456 mg/L. No other constituents flagged
above the EW I at this well or any other sampling point during the quarter. Observations of
dissolved sodium at well 21-5 will continue on a quarterly frequency. A graph representing
data for dissolved boron at well 21-3U for the period of record is provided on page 2 of the
Executive Summary.
Should you have any questions or comments regarding this information, please contact me
at (970) 285-0428 or Celina Akin at (970) 285-0406.
Delivering a Crystal Clear Advantage
www.americansoda.com
