• Department of Health under National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System, <br />established as a result of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. Sec. 1251 et <br />seq.), sets the most stringent effluent limitations of all applicable Rules <br />and Regulations. The permits are presented in full in Exhibit 4, NPDES <br />Permits CO-0027154 and COG-850013 (formerly CO-0036021). <br />NPDES Permit CO-0027154 covers Mines 1,2,3, and Eckman Park, and includes <br />discharge point 010 (basin M3S). Permit COG-850013 (formerly CO-0036021) <br />covers basin M3N only. Standard effluent limitations apply to these basins, <br />and outflow will be monitored by CYCC in accordance with rule 4.05.13. As <br />of October 1, 1990 NPDES Permit COG-850013 will supersede current NPDES <br />Permit CO-0036021. <br /> <br />• PRen 2.05-148 Revised 06/15/90 <br />
