• (ii) The rights of present users to surface and ground <br />water, which may be adversely affected by the surface coal mining and <br />reclamation operations; <br />(iii) The quantity of surface and ground water bath <br />within the proposed permit and adjacent area from adverse effects of the <br />proposed mining activities, or where the protection of quantity cannot be <br />ensured to provide alternative sources of water in accordance with <br />2.04.7(3) and 4.05.15; and <br />(iv) The quality of surface and ground water affected by <br />any underground mines by locating mine openings in accordance with <br />4.05.10. <br />n <br />U <br />(b) The description shall include: <br />(i) A plan for control, in accordance with Rule 4, of <br />surface and ground water drainage into, through and out of the proposed <br />permit area and adjacent area; <br />(ii) A plan for treatment, where required by these Rules, <br />and for surface and ground water drainage from the area to be affected by <br />the proposed activities, and proposed quantitative limits on pollutants <br />in discharges subject to 4.05.2, according to the more stringent of the <br />following: <br /> <br />2.05 - 134 <br />
