• No wildlife migration corridors cross the roadways. Therefore, <br />artificial mitigation measures such as fencing are uaneceaeary. <br />Off-road vehicle use of the proposed permit area has been kept to a <br />minimum. Only authorized travel in the areas ie permitted and no <br />unauthorized vehicles are allowed on the site. <br />Human pets, such as doge, will be kept out of the proposed <br />permit area to decrease the disruption [o wildlife. Human [ravel by <br />foot in the area is highly unlikely due to the safety requirements. <br />No ponds containing tout or hazardous materials are or will be <br />present on the proposed permit area. AL1 hazardous and tozic <br /> forming concentrations, which are restricted to oil and lubricant <br />• <br /> wastes with some minor amounts of trash, are disposed of by hauling <br />them to off-site facilities. Therefore, fencing is unnecessary. <br />Herbicides <br />Non-persistent herbicides will be used for the control of <br />nozious weeds only as described under Bule 2.05.4. Only chemicals <br />registered and approved by the Snviro~ental Protection Agency sad <br />recommended by the Satenaion Service of Colorado State Oniveraity <br />will be utilized. The compounds moat Likely to be used based on <br />past recommendations will be 2-4-d, "Boundup'", or an appropriate <br />equivalent. <br />• <br />2.05 - 129 <br />
