RECLAMATION COSTS
EDIT L
The worst case reclamation scenario will occur at the end of the mine life. At this point, there
will be two different areas which will have to be reclaimed; which will be the largest disturbance
at any time. These two azeas include Phase 12, and the staging area which will be built on the
peninsula which was created with backfilled material in Phase 10 of the mining plan. All areas
will have to be ripped, retopsoiled, harrowed and graded, and finally seeded. The total inclusion
area to be reclaimed in the worst case scenario is 15.14 acres. If for any reason mining ceased in
an area where a peninsula was to be built and the peninsula has not been created yet, it will not
be included in the reclamation in order to decrease the liability.
