<br />MEMO <br />DATE: March 13, 1998 <br />T0: Katherine Rovey <br />FROM: Susan Steers <br />RE: Parkdale Mine Project <br />Katharine; <br /> <br />We have lived at this location in front of the proposed mine site for neazly 4 yeazs now <br />and iri all that time the spring that feeds our well has never run dry or diminished in its <br />flow. Mark Brown, the owner of the land, has indicated that this spring-fed well has been <br />flowing consistently since he purchased the land. <br />The rancher who runs his cattle on the land behind us has indicated that he does not <br />irrigate year round. He irrigates May through August and sometimes a bit in September. <br />Often the weather here is dry through November, yet our spring never dries up. <br />Thank you for your help. <br />~~,~/- <br />
