The Pueblo County Assessors
Office lists you as an adjacent land owner. In 1976 the Colorado
Legislature passed House Biil 1065 which formulate3 new regulations
for mineral extraction in the state and provided a mechanism to
insure that reclamation of lands disturbed .for mineral extraction
was conducted in an environmentally compatible manner. These
new guidelines are monitored by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation
Board.
In order to provide for suitable reclamation for the area near your
property, Summit Pressed Brick and Tile Co. retained our firm
to prepare an environmental study and reclamation plan for their on-
going project. This plan is on file at the Pueblo County Clerks
Office and at the Mined Land Reclamation Board. Although no major
change is anticipated in either the extraction mode or rate at the
site and the project has been designated a "limited impact" operation
it is appropriate that you be notified of the filing of the plan
and the proposed action of the Board.
In order to advise others of t'~e continuing activity the following
notice has been published in the Denver Post:
OtlObar :rT 19A lar !cote. .
erinV an OUaue- Pro antl i
