No permit limitation excursions occurred during this period. During the first quarter the flow
meter at 002A malfunctioned. This meter has subsequently undergone repair. Flow data for 002A was
calculated using weekly water level measurements.
A Quarterly Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) was conducted for Outfall 001W in January 2003. This test
indicated that the effluent was acutely toxic to Daphnia magna survival. Five acccelerated tests were
subsequently conducted through April 2003. Periodic updates on the accelerated testing results were
submitted in writing to Mr. Chris Gates. Accelerated results were fait, pass, fail, pass, and pass. Thus,
the effluent was not acutely toxic to Daphnia magna in the five accelerated tests. Copies of the WET
Test Report Forms are attached.
Plea~s~je contact me di/r~ect/ly at (970) 8'7`0'-2750 for any further questions or additional information.
Brian A.
