This is the reason for the <br />delay in proposing a reclamation program of the South-West Hillside. <br />Following is att explanation of the reclamation technique that will <br />be used j n reclamating the South-West Hillside. Disturbance of <br />South-West Hillside was done during late 1977 and January/February <br />_1978. <br />In reclaiming of this hillside, 77iaterial will be placed in less <br />than 2 ft. lifts. Compaction will be with track equipment and <br />rubber tired off-highway equipment. Terraces will be constructed <br />level, sloping to the outside for proper drainage. The property <br />landowner has required that these terraces will provide access <br />and home type construction. <br />In addition as we discussed, rock outcrops will be exposed as typical <br />in the regions. Prior to any final slope grading and placement of <br />topsoil, it is requested that an on-site inspection is conducted by <br />your department.
