Work with clients in the areas of water quality standards, NPDES and CDPS permitting,, water <br />qualin~ monitoring, pretreatment; 404 permitting, Endangered Species Act compliance, and other Clean <br />Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act issues. <br />• Past projects have included: , <br />• Assistance to various clients in obtaining environmental permits and approvals for development and <br />construction projects; including 404 pennils, 401 certifications, Colorado Discharge Permit System <br />(CDPS) genera] and individual permits, Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment <br />(CDPHE) approvals for development of new water supply systems and wastewater systems; and <br />various county and local requirements; <br />• Negotiation of new or modified permit limits and other permit conditions for CDAS pennittees; <br />• Provision of compliance assistance to CDPS permit holders, including monitoring; reporting, and <br />meeting compliance schedule requirements; also assistance to petmittees under current enforcement <br />actions by EPA and/or CDPHE; <br />• Development of pretreatment ordinances for municipalities; assistance with various aspects of <br />industrial pretreabnenl program implementation, inchlding pretreatment program development, <br />inspections, data analysis, Local Limits development, and enforcement efforts; <br />• Assistance with wastewater utility planning efforts and.rcomplianee with various other Denver <br />Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) planning requirements; <br />• Provision of water quality data analysis and recommendations for new and existing drinking water <br />supplies, wastewater dischargers, agricultural users, stornwater facilities, and industrial pretreatment <br />discharges; ~ ' <br />• Development of Stormwater Management Plans (SWMPs) and Best Management Practices Plans <br />(BMP Plans) for clients; developmem of Best Management Practices Manual for environmentally <br />sensitive areas; <br />• Participation in water quality standards and regulations hearings before the Colorado Water Quality <br />• Control Commission (WQCC) on behalf of various clients; <br />Exhibit 3 <br />LEONARD RICE ENGINEERS 7NC. <br />- 2000 CLAY STREET.
