MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: ~~-~QRn-~Si <br />INSPECTION DATE: o/15/nS INSPECTOR S INITIALS: KAP <br /> <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This inspection was performed as part of the four-year monitoring program conducted by the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. Present at the inspection was Kate Pickford, DMG. Jim Lynn of Park County <br />Road and Bridge was contacted regarding the inspection, but was unable to attend. Weather at the <br />time of the inspection was clear, calm, and approximately 50 degrees. <br />2. An appropriate sign is posted at the mine entrance and the boundaries are marked. Disturbance at <br />the site consists of an excavated area with some small stockpiles of material within the pit. Much of the <br />edges of the excavafion are sloped at 3H: t V or less, which is an adequate slope for reclamation. The <br />remainder of the edge needs to be graded to this slope or less for final reclamation. <br />3. The majority of the pit contains exposed groundwater (See Problem 1, Page 3 of this report). The permit <br />for this site does not include parameters for the exposure of groundwater. ihis problem was cited in the <br />previous inspection report dated April 19, 2001, and the problem was not resolved.
