They are alkali sacaton, <br />yarrow and fourwing saltbush. <br />Reference Areas <br />The four reference areas describetl under "Testing fox Successful Reclamation" are shown on <br />Figure 20-1, Reference Area Location Map. The dryland pasture and irrigated/subi rrigated <br />pasture reference areas are under the control and management of Hayden Gulch Terminal, Inc. <br />The rangeland (low sagebrush) and meadow reference areas are under the control and <br />management of Seneca Coal Company, a company also controlled by HGTI's parent corporation. <br />All reference areas will be properly managed using appropriate husbandry. <br />Post Reclamation Management <br />Reclaimed areas will be properly fenced until deemed capable of withstanding grazing <br />pressure. Permanent fencing will reflect logical management units and ownership boundaries. <br />Grazing exclusion will be implemented during any production sampling, Proper use grazing <br />will be specified in management of the reclaimed lands. Livestock will be distributed and <br />turn-in/turn-out dates will be compatible with forage conditions and productivity. <br />A11 revegetated disturbance areas associated with original construction (vegetation type DHG <br />- Tab 10) that are not redisturbed during reclamation or operational activities, will not be <br />seeded in accordance with this plan unless it is determined that such seedings are needed to <br />achieve the revegetation success standards for stabilization purposes. Such areas will <br />remain essentially undisturbed throughout the operational lifetime of the loadout (30 years <br />or more), and plant succession and natural reestablishment of plant species from surrounding <br />undisturbed areas is expected to ensure adequate stand development. <br /> <br />TR-07 19 Revised 03/06 <br />
