EXHIBIT E

clamation Plan SHAVANO PIT
The land use on the Shavano pit site resembles rangeland or
wasteland. The cover is native brush and grasses. The
County has never used the site for anything other than a
gravel ertraction site. because of the projected life of
the extraction operation, it is possible that the site
might be sold to private enterprise or be used by the
County as a shop and materials area. However, at the
present time, the County staff foresees reclaiming the
area as rangeland. The resulting floor of the pit is
nearly level and mill be left in that condition. Any
grading to be done will be completed with at least a 2:1
slope. Stoc4;piled topsoil will be spread not to exceed
6" in depth. Grasses which are drought resistent and
adopted to low humus type soils will be reseeded on the
site. It is the County's intention to complete reseeding
operation when gravel extraction in the whole area is
completed. The reason being is that we foresee the re-
seeding process as a fragile operation and we prefer to
complete this when access to the area can be controlled.
