Common perennial forbs included <br />trailing fleabane and hairy goldaster. Annual grasses included cheatgrass. Annual forbs were <br />dominated by dandelion and black medic. Broom snakeweed dominated the woody stem density <br />count in this area. Litter comprised almost 50 percent of the entire transect cover.
