-114-
in addition, there's gonna be a consumptive use of water out at the stream;
those two things may cumulate and cause a problem that we would overlook if
both of them weren't gonna happen, but, I guess my question Dean, is -- I --
understand, and I don't think anybody of this Board expects you to say that,
you know, --so and so has these water rights for sale and he's offering them
for such and such a price, and do you think you really can get 'em for sane
other price and if he won't sell 'em, there's this other guy-- as far as the
' hydrologic balance, I don't think we care who the owner's of the water rights
are. Can you identify the principal physical sources from which water is
available? I guess Rito Seco is one of 'em.
MR. ORTEGA: No, it is not. We own the water from Rito Seccr and that's
not for sale at all. Not even one drop.
MR. N. CDHEN: I don't know if the Board has this evidence or not, but I
think it's relevant to this -- to exactly to your question -- is that they've
• attempted to buy water rights from the Sanchez Ditch Company and they've been
denied.
MR. DANIEL SON: I guess...
MR. MASSEY: Physical sources of water.
MR. DANIELSDN: ...maybe I didn't -- maybe I walked into a buzz saw
there, but my point is, there's only -- you know, I don't think you're gonna
do what Davis suggested and go up and truck it down from the Colorado. But
there -- what are -- can you identify what the principal, physical water
supplies that are available in that area are?
MR. MASSEY: I believe we can. I call -- ask John to come up here and
respond to that from the physical perspective. Not from a legal perspective,
John, because that's -- that's the business of the -- for the Water Court and
. the augmentation plan, but physically, what are we talking about? What are
we contemplating?
