-105-

MR. MASSEY: In section D.10.3 of the permit application, describes what
the project water use is, now I'm gonna defer to the technical people to tell
me what that is.
MR. N. COHEN: What was the Cite you gave, Dean?
MR. MASSEY: D.10.3. Anne's reading from it, now.
MS. BALDRIGE: If I can just read you that section, it's only a two
paragraphs. It's very brief. It says, the mining and milling operations for
this project are expected to require a maximum water supply of approximately
200 gallons per minute during normal operations. All water resources used for
the project will have the appropriate water rights approval prior to any water
use for the project. Project water will be piped to the site four storage in
tanks located adjacent to the mill facilities. Small amounts of ground water
intercepted during mining will be used in the mining and millings operation.
MR. N. COHEN: What page was that, pleasel
MS. BALDRIGE: I think it's 63.
MR. MASSEY: D point... Oh, I'm sorry.
MS. BALDRIGE: D-63, I believe. Yes.
MR. DODSON: Of course, those are the pages that we don't have. That --
to equivalent to that water, would be equivalent to approximately 250 acres of
MR. N. COHEN: May I -- may I ask some question? I guess, since we are
on this issue, I don't know who was asking me question on that point, but --
is this calculation or is this estimate the total amount of water for the
entire project or is it just fora portion of the project?
