INSPECTION SCHEDULE
Al] of the check dam structures will be inspected in conjunction with the quarterly
pond inspection reports. These inspections will check for stability and erosional features.
Since these check dams aze designed for flow velocity reduction and not for effluent
water treatment, the structures will no[ be checked for sediment capacity or water volume
contained. The check dams, as a part of their function, will however create temporazy
impoundments of water. Once the structures have filled with sediment it will be reported
to the Division in the inspection reports and those impoundments, with the approval of
the Division, will be removed from the inspection list.
The following check dam structures meet the above listed criteria and no longer
require inspection:
