The following items will be addressed alphabetically: <br />Exhibit C: The attachedPre-Mmiag Map inch the following additions: adjoining <br />surface landowners of record, the actual proposed permit acreage of 193.28 <br />acres, the location of the existing fencing and the type of vegetation covering the <br />affected land. <br />Exhibit D: Topsoil will be stripped to a depth of 6-8" where available and stockpiled <br />separately. Overburden varies in lens thickness throughout the site. All <br />overbuuden will be piled separately. Since this Ste will be contimrously mined <br />and with concurrent recl:tmatioq the overburden will be placed on previously <br />mined and umtormly graded areas in depths of 10" to 2' depending upon <br />available vole. The temporary seed mix w stabilize stotdCpiles is the El Paso <br />County Seed Blend The midure of seeds is idemified below: <br />40 % Crested Wheat Grass <br />40 %Peremrial Rye Grass <br />10 %Blue Grams <br />10 % Side Oats Grams <br />The 3 H:1 V slopes may be necessary during the mining activity but not part of <br />the Reclamation Plan except for the north permit boundary line where the <br />mining elevation will be 20' lower than the existing grade. The comours drawn <br />on the Reclamation PLm Map for this area already reflect a 3 H: 1 V slope. <br />These same slopes, however, were used in calculating the financial warranty <br />simply as a means to derive ao appropriate rechmmtion badger <br />Exhibit E: The topsoil depth will average between 6-8" where available and there is no <br />phtce for 3 H: 1 V slopes in the Reclamation Plan except for the north permit <br />boundary line where the mining elevation wi11 be 20' lower than the erosting <br />grade. Soils Conservation has been notified regarding the "Noxious Weed Plan". <br />A copy of this plan will be avaihtble upon receipt from the Soils Conservation <br />Service and it will be made part of this permit <br />Phone 473-3700 • Fax 473-3109 <br />
