Box 2065 <br />2492 Industrial Blvd. <br />Grand Junction, Colorado 81501 <br />Dear Mr. Ponchak, <br />This is in reply to your reguest fora letter specifying conformance with <br />Cnunty coning regulations for the following underground uranium mining <br />operation: <br />- The existing Hawkeye Mine located in the 541; Sec 32 T44N R18W <br />- The new entrance to the existing Ellison Mine located in the <br />NW', NW; Sec 32, NE', NE', Sec 31, S4J', SW; Sec 29, and SE; SE; <br />Sec 30 all in T44N R18W <br />- The existing Herbert Mine located in the 561a SE; Sec 30 <br />N41', NE'; Sec 31 T44N' R18W <br />- The existing Vanadium Lode Mine located in the SE; NE; Sec 31 <br />T44N R18W <br />These areas are zoned F-Forestry and Agriculture District; mining operations <br />are a use allowed by right subject to conditions in this district (see <br />enclosure).
