C <br />WILDLIFE STATEMENT <br />The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for <br />use by the Mined Land Reclamation Board in their consideration of <br />a mining permit for "Blue Jet Mine", James D. Osborne Rlue ,let <br />Mining, Inc., P.O. Box 381, Craig, CO 81625 <br />The Colorado Division of Wildlife does hereby find, to the best of <br />our knowledge, that the impact of the proposed mining operation on <br />wildlife will be <br />X minor <br />moderate <br />major <br />Mine Location: <br />SW;NW;, Sec. 5, T9N, R42W <br />Wildlife Species List: (may be attached) <br />Big Game: Mule Deer, Elk, Antelope <br />Small Game: Sage Grouse, Sharptail Grouse, Cottontail, Jackrabbit <br />Misc. Wildlife Species native this rolling sage country. <br />Endangered Species Impacted: NONE <br />Assessment of Impact on Wildlife: (may be attached) <br />The project area as proposed is not of sufficient size to have sub- <br />stantial adverse impacts on wildlife. The most likely impact from a <br />project of the scope is. the disturbance or harassment of wildlife by <br />employees commuting to the mine. Any illegal harvest of wildlife by <br />employees of this mine during the performance of their normal duties <br />should be cause for retracting this permit. <br /> <br />Reclamation Recommendations: (may be attached) <br />1. Fences be 42" or less with at least 12" between the two top <br />strands of wire. <br />2. Adequate erosion control be maintained. <br />3.
