The pond discharges to the Shop Diversion Ditch, which conveys flow to Pond 003. Because the pond is not a primary sedimentation structure, there are no settleable solids effluent limits. • The water elevation in the Wash Pond is also variable and is based on equipment wash schedules. Because the pond was not designed or constructed as a sedimentation structure, it does not need to meet the Rules 4.05.6, 4.05,9(2)(a)(i) or 4.05.9(2)(c)(ii). Dirty water flows to the pond from the wash bay via a conczete lined channel. The spillway device is a 18-inch CMP pipe with a 18-inch T-shaped cap. The "T" is on its side, the barrel is the spillway pipe. The "T" is the dewatering device, and discharging water flows through the bottom of the "T" (see Exhibit 7-16B). Water does not flow from the Wash Pond when the water level falls below 6,603.9 feet. Treated water discharges to the Shop Diversion Ditch and ultimately flows to Pond 003.
