•~ ~~ <br />EXHIBIT H -Wildlife <br />Historic mining activity in the area, roads and agricultural activity have significantly <br />disturbed the wildlife habitat on the property. Colorado Division of Wildlife records <br />were researched for species of birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles likely to <br />inhabit the area (Colorado Latilong Distribution Studies). The following is a listing of <br />mammal, amphibian and reptile species potentially inhabiting croplands of the area: <br />• Western Harvest Mouse <br />• Northern Grasshopper Mouse <br />• Prairie Vole <br />• Coyote <br />• Red Fox <br />• Raccoon <br />• Long-tailed Weasel <br />• Striped Skunk <br />• White-tailed Deer <br />• Virginia Opossum <br />• Woodhouse's Toad <br />• Boreal Chorus Frog <br />• Tiger Salamander <br />• Northern Earless Lizard <br />• Eastern Yeilowbelly Racer <br />• Milk Snake <br />• Bull Snake <br />• Wandering Garter Snake <br />• Western Plains Garter Snake <br />• Red-stripped Garter Snake <br />• Plains Hognose Snake <br />• Bull Frog <br />• Western Spiny Softshell Turtle <br />• Northern many-lined Skink <br />Mining will cause temporary loss of food and habitat for wildlife, until reclamation is <br />complete. The proposed reclamation plans will restore the land to ponds capable of <br />supporting wildlife. <br />
