• <br />Extraction Operation <br />Areas to be mined will be dewatered. <br />Approximately six (61 weeks in advance of mining a trench will be excavated to <br />bedrock around the area to be mined (5 to 10 acresl. A pump will be installed at <br />the low point of the trench and the groundwater will be removed and discharged <br />into St. Vrain Creek. The dewatering activities will be addressed by a well permit <br />and plan of augmentation (Colorado Division of Water Resources) and by a NPDES <br />permit (Colorado Department of Water Resources) and by a NPDES permit (Colorado <br />Department of Health and Environment) for the discharge. <br />County Roads and Bridges to be Utilized/Transoortation <br />All aggregate materials will be hauled off the property by gravel haul trucks. The <br />ingress-egress point is shown on Exhibit C-2.
