Final reclamation of the site was accomplished in 1987. Since that time, the site has
been revegetated and we are in the final two years of the 10 year liability period established
by the Colorado of Minerals and Geology (CDMG). A sediment control demonstration was
made in 1992 and the sediment control system was removed in 1993. Complete Phase II
bond release for sediment control was approved by the CDMG in 1995.
Slurco is currently submitting quarterly DMRs for historic discharge points and an Annual
Stormwater Report. The DMRs indicate that we have not had any discharges over the past
several years.
Should you have questions or if you need additional information concerning our site, please
do not hesitate to let me know at 303-850-0930.
Sincerely,
Jerry H.
