Other mine roads , if any, and the pilot plant site <br /> .will be cleaned off, ripped and "put to bed" , and covered with <br /> topsoil and seeded in a similar manner to the mined-out areas . <br /> Any steep slopes in the vicinity of the pilot plant site will <br /> be backfilled against the slope to establish a final slope with <br /> a gradient of not more than 3 : 1 (horizontal to vertical) . See <br /> EXHIBIT F-3 . <br /> Seeding will be done with a drill capable of seeding <br /> both large and small seeds in separate compartments . <br /> The following grass- legume mixture will be drilled <br /> one-half to one inch deep across t e slope at a rate of 12 <br /> pounds of Fure live seed per acre. <br /> Intermediate Wheatgrass 25% L <br /> Smooth Brome 25% <br /> Streambank Wheatgrass 40% <br /> Antelope Bitterbrush 10% <br /> After seeding a good commercial mulch will be applied. <br /> The seeded area will be protected from livestock, 0 W <br /> vehicles and other disturbances until the plants are well <br /> established. <br /> This reclamation plan is prepared according to <br /> recommendations of the United States Department of Agriculture, <br /> Soil Conservation Service , as outlined in the attached EXHIBIT <br /> I/J.
