PART I <br />Page xii <br />Permit No. Ct}0000213 <br />C. DEFINI'I IONS OF TERMS <br />10. 'Seven (7) day average' means the arithmetic mean of all samples collected in a seven (7) consecutive day period. Such <br />seven ('n day averages shall be calculated for all calendar weeks, which are defined as beginning on Sunday and ending <br />on Saturday. If the calendar week overlaps two months (i.e. the Sunday is in one month and the Saturday in the <br />following month), the seven (7) day aversge calculated for that calendar w«k shall be associated with the month that <br />contains the Saturday. Samples may not be used for more than one (l) reporting period. <br />11. 'Thirty (30) day average' means the arithmetic mean of all samples collated during a thirty (30) wnsecutive-0ay <br />period. The permitter shall report the appropriate mean of all self-monitoring sample data collated during the calendar <br />month on the Discharge Monitoring Reports. Samples shall not be used for more than one (1) reporting period. <br />12. 'Visual' observation is observing the discharge to chak for the preswce of a visible chew or floating oil. <br />13. 'Water Quality Control Division' or 'Division' means the state Water Quality Control Division as establishod in 75-8- <br />101 et al. <br />D. REPORTIIVG <br />1. ~natarv Reauirrntents , <br />All documwts required for submittal shall be signed by the permitter in accord with the following criteria: <br />a) In the case of corporations, by a principal czautive officer of at least the level of vico-presidwt or his or her duly <br />authorized representative, if such representative is responsible for the overall operation of the facility from which the <br />discharge described in the form originates; <br />b) In We case of a partnership, by a gweral partner, <br />c) In the case of a sole proprietorship, by the proprietor, <br />d) In the case of a municipal, state, or other public facility, by either a principal ezautive officer, ranking elated <br />official, or other duly authorized employee. <br />2. Certification <br />Any person signing a document for submittal shall make the following certification; 'I certify under pemlty of law that <br />this document and all attachmwts were prepared under my diration or supervision in accordance with a system designed <br />to assure that qualified personnel properly gather and evaluate the information submitted. Based on my inquiry of the <br />person or persons who manage the system, or those persons directly responsible for gathering, the information submitted <br />is, to the best of my knowledge and belief, true, accurate, and complete. I am aware that there are significant penalties <br />for submitting false information, including the possibility of fine and imprisottmwt for knowing violations.' <br />wnar ami9~ <br />
