<br />October 21, 1997 <br />Mr. Berhan Keffelew <br />page 2 <br />While it is likely that a significant proportion of the above-mentioned pollutants present in the <br />pond water, as well as other pollutants not specifically mentioned, would become attached to <br />soils or rock or otherwise be prevented from re-entering surface waters, the Water Quality <br />Control Division has not been provided with any data or other analyses which clearly indicated <br />what the fate of the pollutants will be.
