I'.'ildli{e Species List <br />Mule deer, cottontail rabbit, bobcat, scaled quail, black-tailed jackrabbit, <br />coyote, kit fox, golden eagle, road runner, prairie falcon, gray fox, and a <br />variety of other small mammals, reptiles and birds typical of the Short-grass <br />prairie and Pinyon-Juniper woodland communities. <br />6_ Endangered Species Impacted <br />None known to be present. <br />7. hssessment of L•Sininq Impact on Wildlife , <br />Perhaps greater than most other sites due to amount of cover, proximity of <br />water, and variety of topography and vegetation in pre-disturbed condition. <br />On-site destruction of habitat has occurred and may expand. Disruption of <br />• wildlife activity patterns may occur due to human activity during periods of <br />use. Will be a contributing source of sediments in Carrizo Creek during <br />periods of heavy rainfall. <br />S. Proposed Iditication N~easures, Including Reclar„align for FJildli{e F'sbitat. <br />Usual reclamation procedures will probably be sufficient, but special attention <br />should be given to sheet and gully erosion control. Construction of one more <br />check dam below existing one will be beneficial.
