Monitoring Requirement for Otttfall 023 <br /> <br />In order to obtain an indication of the probable compliance or <br />noncompliance with the effluent limitations specified in Section A, <br />the permittee shall monitor all effluent parameters at the following <br />frequencies: <br />Effluent Parameter <br />Measurement Frequency d/ <br />Sample Type e/ <br />Flow, MGD <br />Total Suspended Solids, mg/1 <br />Total Iron, mg/1 <br />011 and Grease, mg/1 f/ <br />pH, s.u. <br />Total Dissolved Solids, mg/1 g/ <br />Weekly <br />Monthly <br />Monthly <br />Weekly <br />Weekly <br />Quarterly h/ <br />Instantaneous <br />or Continuous <br />Grab <br />Grab <br />Visual/Grab <br />Crab <br />Grab <br />Reporting of the above data shall be on a quarterly basis. Refer to <br />Part I. D.2 for specific requirements. <br />Sampling by the permittee for compliance with the monitoring <br />requirements specified above shall be performed at the following <br />location(s): The pump outfall at the east intake, as shown in figure 5. <br />Monitoring by the Division for the purpose of compliance and/or <br />enforcement of the effluent limitations shall be performed as per <br />"Sample Type" specified above. <br />9. Salinity Study <br />The permittee shall perform a study to determine the feasibility of <br />achieving a no-salt discharge from all outfalls, or if not practical, <br />then achieving discharge of less than one [on per day of TDS. This <br />study shall be performed in accordance with ttte Regulations for <br />Implementation of the Colorado River Salinity Standards 'fltrougli the <br />NPDES Permit Program and shall be submitted within 90 days after t}te <br />effective date of Amendment No. 5. <br />See Part I.A.9, for Footnotes. <br />Amended 06/18/85 <br />Amended 02 25 86 <br />Amended <br />Code: i - 4 Date: 1 - 84 <br />
