These reports comply with the requirement for Rule
4.05.6(13).
After review of the reports, the Division has a few comments:
1) Eckman Park Mine, Pond D, report that the lowest hole on the riser is at elevation
6846.5 ft. The water level is at 6847.5 ft. This indicates that the pond would be
discharging. No estimate for the outflow (cfs) was recorded. Please include an
estimated outflow on future reports.
Comments included in the erosional and structural sections are very helpful, and
clarify the items identified in the "problem" column.
2) Foidel Creek Mine, Pond T, the riser crest elevation is labelled as 6904.9 ft., yet the
lowest hole on the crest in at 6907.9 ft. Additionally the water level is recorded at
6905.9 ft. with no discharge occurring from the pond. Please correct the riser crest
elevation.
The Division appreciates Twentymile Coal Company's timely submittals of the reports. If
you have any questions, please call me.
pecialist
Rincerely
