With the exception of the Menzer Quarry, all of the
paperwork is in order. The financial warranty for the Menzer Quarry should be
in the amount of $36,600.00 but is only in the amount of $36,000.00. If this
one small .problem can be fixed, I am prepared to recommend approval of the
transfer of all three permits to Cooley Gravel Company during the scheduled
.4 ay 22-23, 1985 Board meeting as "no problem" items.
Please let me know how you wish to correct the face amount of the financial
warranty for the Menzer Quarry. The bond could either be reissued, or a rider
to the bond could be issued by the St. Paul Fire'and Marine Insurance
Company. In any case, this needs to be accomplished prior to the upcoming May
Board meeting.in order for the staff to recommend approval of the transfer of
the permit for the Menzer Quarry.
Please call me if I can be of any further assistance.
Sincerely,
Mark S.
