The purposes of this submittal are to: <br />1. Respond to the Summary of Changes Requested in the Colorado Division <br />of Minerals and Geology's (DMG's) August 12, 1994 Mid-Term Review <br />which have not been previously addressed; <br />2. Delete all permit references to the Railroad Loadout and associated facilities <br />now owned by Hayden Gulch Terminal, Inc. <br />3. Update the Mining and Reclamation Plan to reflect the current mine status <br />and compile all currently relevant permit information in one document; <br />4. Request DMG review of the current reclamation cost estimate and reduction <br />of the corresponding Reclamation Performance Bond amount; and, <br />5. Designate TerraMatrix, Inc. as Resident Agent for H-G Coal Company <br />(HGCC). <br />• HGCC completed surface coal mining operations at the Hayden Gulch Mine in 1986. <br />Reclamation of the 362 acres affected over the life of the mine began in 1979 and was conducted <br />concurrently with mining operations and in accordance with approved reclamation plans through <br />1987. At chat time final backfilling, grading, topsoil replacement and revegetation activities were <br />essentially completed for the entire mine and support facilities areas.
