The revision in <br />question was tlee;ned complete by our office April 4, 1943 and suosequently <br />approvatl efrective July 5, 19ds. <br />Your concerns were rlitn regard to Mt. Gunnisons' proposal to delay mining <br />of the su~sidence test panel until 1986 and now this would affect <br />suosidence baseline data available for the next pennit tens. The <br />Division had similar concerns that were expressed to the operator in our <br />approval latter of June 3, 1933. Page 3 of that letter stated: <br />"There is one indirect, but significant implication of the proposed <br />~ecnnical ievision which deserves mention. Tne pro,;csed technical <br />revision indicates that the subsidence test panel will De the only <br />panel to De retreat mined during the firs[ five year. pennit terln. <br />This panel is riot proposed to be mined until the fifttl year of the <br />permit cer~n.
