a meeting held on 10 July 1981 and attended by represent-
atives of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division (CMLR.),
CWI, derrick and Co., and GEO-HYDRO. This was subsequently
detailed in our proposal dated 16 July 1981. Basically, the
purpose of the study was to address the geotechnical questions
specified in the following three categories:
Existing Facilities
•
o Review the condition of old landslides tenta-
tively identified by the Colorado Geological
Survey north of the mine
o Evaluate stability conditions of the existing di-
version channel cut
o Evaluate the stability of the crushing and
screening level fill, and any other fills for
which this was considered appropriate
o Evaluate the stability of a small landslide which
developed close to sedimentation pond No. 4
Proposed Construction
o Develop design recommendations for a proposed
waste rock disposal area immediately south of the
crushing and screening level fill
Reclaimed Facilities
o Provide design reconunendations for the reclaimed
configurations of the diversion channel cut, of
the crushing and screening level fill, and other
important fills, and of rock cuts.
•
_ ? _
6F0-HYDRO CONSULTING, INC.
