Information provided by Soil Conservation Service includes
vegetation found at site.
LEGAL RIGHT TO ENTER
Copy of executed lease provided.
EXHIBIT C - MINING PLAN
1. As you will notice in the photos there is very little top-
soil, and also the pit is situated on a fairly steep hillside.
Taking this in consideration I feel it would be most practical
to utilize this material as stockpile areas. To stock pile
this material in this location I feel it would o::iy create more
of aground disturbance on such steep sidehills, whereas if
this was used as pads it would be immediately adjacent to the
pit, which could be replaced back into the pi'. with the least
disturbance. Temporary seeding could be done on outside slopes
to help control erosion.
2. Crusher site shown on map.
3. Rock extraction will require the use of explosives and
drilling. As you will notice by the photos there are no struc-
tures near the pit. We are also inspected on a regular basis
by Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), and are re-
quired to comply to their regulations.
5. Slope of highwall will be approximately 450. All high walls
should be very stable, being required to abide by MSHA regula-
tions, in the event we should encounter stability problems, we
would probably leave wider benches in these sections.
