Approximately
one-sixth acre of pond area remains from past mining activity.
The discharge from the dewatering operation will be pumped
into Eaton Ditch. The pump will be located et the northeast
corner of the permit area for Phases I end II. The pumping
location will then be moved to the southeast end of the site for
Phase III. Location of each is shown on the Mining Plan Map.
The discharge of this water to the Eaton Ditch will allow runoff
that has historically been tributary to the ditch to be main-
tained. Thus, the operator will not in,7ure the ditch rights.
The operator and Lorimer Weld Ditch Company met October 4, 1985.
An agreement has been reached for discharging water into Eaton
Ditch end will be forwarded when available.
Water requirement for operations is approximately .2
acre-feet per year for duet suppression. This water may be
supplied from the dewatering operation or trucked to the site.
An NPDES permit is non-applicable ea groundwater will be
discharged into a private ditch and not a public water course.
Table G-1 lists all permitted and ed~udiceted wells in the
area of the proposed operation end figure G-1 shows the location
of these wells. None of these wells ere expected to be affected
by operations.
TABLE G-1
Appro-
t Name of Well permit Depth Yield priation Location
Well Own er number <Ft.)
